I was nominated for the Liebster Award!

I just happen to look on my Facebook page for my Blog and saw that Olivia Shaw from Viki & Livi had nominated me for the Liebster Award! I was so honored! Thank you so much Olivia, it really means a lot to me to be nominated for this Award. You should head over and check out their blog. They have some amazing recipes on there that I may be trying out soon! The Liebster Award is for blogs that have under 200 followers and blogs are nominated by other bloggers. 

I have answered 11 questions that she passed on to me below. Then I will nominate 11 other blogs and give them 11 questions to answer as well. Hope you enjoy!

1. How did you decide on the title of your blog? 
~ It is based on a poem I wrote back in High School when I was feeling depressed. It has so much meaning to me. I felt so Broken. I was already a Christian, but I was doing some back sliding. The poem just poured out of me one day and it seemed like it began a healing process for me. I was Broken, but I knew Jesus was my Remedy.

2. What one word sums up the heart of your blog and why?
 ~Light, I want to be a Light for the Lord. As you see when you first come on my blog page, Matthew 5:16 “ Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in heaven”.

3. What's your favorite pastime other than blogging?
 ~Reading, I love to read. Just finding time to do so is hard sometimes.

4. What is your favorite aspect of blogging?
 ~Knowing that I can reach people all around the world.

5. Which recipe, project, or idea on my blog would you most like to try yourself? 
~I would love to try the Cinnamon and Brown Sugar Banana Bread. I love regular Banana bread, I also love Cinnamon. So I know I would love the recipe!

6. Where does your blog inspiration come from? 
~Reading the Bible, The Lord, and little things I pick up on a daily basis.

7. What is one country in the world you would like to visit? Why?
~Australia, I’ve just always wanted to go there. For one thing I really like their accents. I would also like to visit Hillsong Church.

8. If you have children, what are their names? If not, what are your favorite boy & girl names?
~I’m pregnant with our first child now. We have Bethany Ruth picked out if it’s a girl and Josiah Dale if it’s a boy.

9. A long lost relative leaves you a large sum of money. What do you do with it?
~First off pay off all of our debt. Then I would help all the people that I could. Also would probably buy a bigger home for our growing family. Nothing fancy, just humble.

10. In your opinion, what is the best blog post you've written so far? (Include the link!)

11. What is your favorite food? 
~Pizza! I have always loved pizza ever since I was a kid. It’s pretty much about all I ate at school for lunch.
