Teen Girl Series: You are Fearfully and Wonderfully made!

It hurts me when I see young girls putting themselves down. They call themselves ugly, they say no one loves them, and no one wants them. I used  to be one of those girls. I had that same self-destructive behavior going on, but no one knew. I kept it to myself. In my mind, I tormented myself. My self-destruction was a verbal and mental thing. It never went any further than that, even though I had suicidal thoughts, I never did anything about them. What I went through was enough though. With that self-destruction, along came depression. Which I kept to myself as well. No one knew what I was going through, except for me and God. It has only been a few years since I have really started to be opened about what I faced. This is why I feel such a strong burden to reach out to young girls. I know I have not faced everything you may be facing, but I hope to help you through whatever it is you are going through. You may think no one cares, but I do, I care! I may not know you, but I care! That is why I'm writing this. I want to let you know something's you may not know or you may of just forgot. So here you go.

I'm here to tell you that you are Beautiful! You are Wanted! You are Loved! You are Worth It! Jesus died for us all so he definitely thought you were worth it all! You have What it takes! You are Strong! You are Smart! I am here to tell you that you can get through whatever it is you are going through. No matter what it is. No matter what your circumstances are. You can do this, you are a Survivor! The only true way to get through all of what you are facing is Jesus, he can and will help you. That's how I got through all of my self-destruction and depression. I was Broken. I finally admitted it to God and he healed me. He set me free! You can be free too! If you want to be. He can heal you too, if you let him. I was Broken, but Jesus was my Remedy. See, this is why my blog name is Broken With Remedy. Its my life, its the truth. We are all Broken and in need of a Savior. Just ask him into your heart, ask him to take all of the pain and hurt away. Ask him to cleanse you from all of your sins, your wrong doings, bad decisions, mistakes. Ask him to heal your broken heart. He will do it!

In Psalm 139:14 it tells us "I will praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are your works, and that my soul knows very well".  You were Fearfully and Wonderfully made!
Never forget that!

Here are a few more verse to help you:

Psalm 46:1  "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble"

Psalm 9:9 "The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, A refuge in times of trouble"

Psalm 22:24  "For he has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; Nor has He hidden his face from him; but when he cried to Him , He heard"
