Bullets and Grace

She sat there crying
Didn't understand why
The pain she was feeling
The tension was high
Their words had hit her like bullets
Piercing every part of her skin
Her heart had stopped beating
She felt dead to them
But in that moment she found grace
The Lord so forgiving and ready to
Carry her pain away
She let go of the blade
And fell to the floor
She surrendered her life to the Lord
He took all the pain and hurt
She couldn't bear
And dumped it in the ocean with no despair


P.S. I know the title may seem weird...but I was sitting here wondering what I could name this poem. Bullets and Grace is what came to mind, which fits perfectly with this poem anyways.

God is always there!

Forget about yesterday and move on
Let go of all the things that weigh you down...
Stop holding onto whats not there
Just let go and breathe
A brighter day will come
Sooner than you think
Remember the lessons you've learned
So you want have to go through them again
Even though life gets hard just remember
God is always there

Time to Wake Up!

It's time to wake up America
It's time to open our eyes
And take a stand
We have spit in our forefathers faces
We have defiled our homeland
We have come so far from what we were founded on
The truth is no longer clear
It's time Christians we take the torch
And burn it bright for the
Real Truth we will ignite
America was founded on
God that's where we stand
The truth is this is Gods land!

I wrote this poem years ago. I just think for the time America is in it was fitting to repost. Can't wait to see what the next 4 years have in store.

Broken With Remedy

Lord take this hurt and pain away
I know you are the only true Healer
Then I will gain
Peace, Confidence, and hope for tomorrow
That I will live in a land were I feel no sorrow
Only peace of mind and true wisdom
From above
Only you can calm my storms and dry my tears
You are the One, the Only...
