I want to be Content

This year I need and want to work on being content. I don't need to buy things like books, clothes, makeup, etc that much this year. Some not even at all. Unless there is an absolute need for it.

I want to grow in my walk with the Lord. Grow in my understanding of the scriptures. I believe that being content in seasons of life is important and helps you grow. Will definitely help me grow in my faith and trust in the Lord. My needs will be met by my Savior for He is the one I hunger and thirst for.

~Matthew 5:6  "Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled."

~John 6:33-35  "For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world. Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread. And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst."

I want to be a better wife, mother, homeschooling mom, friend, sister, youth leader, and any other titles I have.
Be a better steward of my time. Be a better homemaker. Spend more intentional time with my children and help them learn the truths of God and His word more.

~Proverbs 31:25-27  "Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness."

All of this will take commitment and be a process of growing and learning. It is what I need to do and maybe even you feel the same too? Maybe in different aspects?

Being content is something I have felt I have needed to work on, off and on the past few months. Also being better at my roles God has given me.
May this year be a season of growth and wisdom. Drawing closer to the Lord and learning more about His word and biblical truths.

~James 4:7-8  "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded."

Progressive christianity and how it's ruining you

If you are a "Christian" who believes that the Bible is outdated or times have changed so the Bible doesn't apply. Or you think that its time for the church to change, with the times. Then you are following your own ideals and not Christ's. God says himself that there is nothing new under the sun, Ecclesiastes 1:9. He knows all. Everything that was, that will be, that is to come. Everything in His word is true. If He said He hated it then, He hates it now. If He said do not do it then, do not do it now. If He said it was an abomination then, its an abomination now. Nothing has changed and the church sure doesn't need to change with the times (we do need to stand stronger and stand firm, with biblically sound doctrine and theology). The only thing we need to do, is read and study....and I mean STUDY our bibles. When you do that, there is no room for doubt. There will be no second guessing. Studying Gods word will forever change you and your views.
Thats whats wrong with so called Christians today. They do not want to study Gods word. They want to believe in a warm and fuzzy god they make up in their own minds. One that is taught about by the false teachers and preachers they listen too, because they believe these men (and women) are spiritually sound so they have to be preaching the truth.
A god who won't send people to hell, one that is okay with abortion (you know women's right and all) one that is okay with homosexuality (because love is love). Do you not understand that all that goes against Gods word and what he stands for!? He is holy. Sin has to be punished. The only redeemer we have is Jesus. He came to take on ALL OUR SINS. So that we could have a way to the Father. So that we don't have to go to hell. My prayer is that you will be moved by the Holy Spirit and repent of your sins. Ask Jesus to forgive you and to be your Savior. You will never regret it. You will never look back on your past and miss it. You will be forever changed! And if you are a Christian that has fallen for the false teaching of progressive christianity, its not to late to repent.
Read Roman's 1:26-32 for context
Actually just read all of Roman's 1, its full of some good, hard-core truth! The whole Bible is!
I end on this, Roman's 12:2
"Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect."
Romans 12:2
If we are truly saved and love Jesus. We will not want anything to do with what this world glorifies.

Growing = Strength

 GROWING

Sitting
Wondering
Waiting
Anticipating
Wanting to know what's ahead
Wishing to know what the future holds
But
If we did
What would life be
How would we live
Not in the moment
Not resting in peace
If we knew what was to come
We would ever be in expectation
Ready for the next good thing
Wanting to bypass all the hurt
And all the pain
In reality
That is where we grow
Through trails and temptations
Through hurts and pains
Through loss
If we didn't have these hard times
How would we appreciate the good times
How would we ever grow

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It's not always easy to grow. Sometimes it is painful. A learning process. One I'm still learning. But one thing I do know is that
⬇️
Growth = Strength
Once we learn, we grow. When we do the learning we are becoming a stronger person through the process. I have had alot of "growing" moments in my life and I still have plenty ahead of me.
The Lord tells us in his word that we will have tribulations in John 16:33 = "I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world." (ESV)
I love the last part of that verse! He, The Lord, God, our King, has overcome the world. He has overcome our tribulations, our trials, our pains. Anything and everything we will ever face, He has OVERCOME! And through him, we are an overcomer, we will get through the tough, scary, hard times. We will see the other side.
Remedy For The Soul
As I sit in my regret
And all the pain
Comes rushing in
The lies are
Swirling around my mind
I focus on what is thine
I will pull myself
From this pit
Even though the
Hands of death
Are pulling me in
I will rise
And fear no more
For I know
The Lord
He has healed me
He has rescued me
He has saved me
From this past
He is my redeemer
My peace
Lover of my soul
The darkness may come
But I will always know
I have a remedy
For my soul
His name is Jesus
King of all
Faith
                          Faith
I do not have all the answers, but I do know that no matter what you will always have your faith and trust in God. No matter what life brings your way remember God already has the victory! No one can take your faith away from you. Hebrews 11:1 says "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen". Also 2 Corinthians 5:7 says "for we walk by faith, not by sight". Remember those verses throughout your day, throughout your life. Without faith it is impossible to believe in God. Faith is what helps us believe and trust in what we can't see. Even though truly we can see God everywhere, for he is the Creator of the earth we live on. I will leave you with this verse, which sums up why Faith is so important. Ephesians 2:8 says that: "For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God".
Dear Trey, (and others like you)
A letter from a caring fan:
Dear Trey, (and others like you)
I see your struggle. I might can’t relate to it, what you feel or what you are going through, but I hear what you are saying. So does God. He loves you more than you can fathom, but he does not condone your sin. For that matter he does not condone any sin what so ever. He is a just and righteous God.
I’m saying this out of love and concern for not only you, but all the other people out there like you. Struggling with the same thing.
Some may say that just saying you are gay but not acting on it is not a sin, that it is okay. Which is not true. If you have embraced it and accepted it to become who you think you should be then it is already is a sin. Once you accept it you have acted on it.
I know you and others say that the teaching of the church is hurtful. The teachings that the church teaches is the truth, the holy word of God. The truth does hurt and it does offend, especially if you are living in sin. If you read Romans 1:24-32, you will see that the lifestyle you and others have chosen to embrace is not of God. Which leads to false teachers, the ones telling you that what you are doing is okay. That God is okay with it and you are not in the wrong. 2 Timothy 4:3-4 says: “For a time is coming when people will no longer listen to sound and wholesome teaching. They will follow their own desires and will look for teachers who will tell them whatever their itching ears want to hear. They will reject the truth and chase a myth.”
My next issue is saying that you’re a “gay Christian”, those words do not fit together. You are either one or the other. It all comes down to this simple truth: Christians are supposed to be Christ like. Nothing about homosexuality is Christ like, therefore you can not be a “gay Christian”.
All of you have fallen into this trap of being deceived by the enemy’s lies. I’m not sure how it came to happen, but it did. He has whispered these lies of attractions for the same sex in your ears and put these sinful thoughts in your heads, until you finally caved and gave in. Romans 1:25 tells us this: “They traded the truth about God for a lie. So they worshipped and served things God created instead of the Creator himself, who is worthy of eternal praise! Amen”.  So accepting this lie of being gay and saying it is who you are, you have traded Gods truth for a lie and you are now serving yourself and your selfish desires.
Yes we all sin. Yes no sin is greater than another. The difference with homosexuality is you have embraced it and made it who you are. You are not ashamed of it. You are not repentant for it. Therefore you openly live in your sin everyday. God does forgive, but only if you are willing to let go of your sins.
This world is changing, but God never changes. His word never changes. It will not change to accommodate your lifestyle. Hebrews 13:8 says: “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever” and Malachi 3:6 says: I am the Lord and I do not change. That is why your descendants of Jacob are not already destroyed”.
I want to end this letter with this:
2 Corinthians 5:20
“ So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!”.
I plead Come back to God!
It has been a long time....
Wow! It's been a long time since I have posted anything. I've been super busy with my new role of being a Mother. I have to say it has been so amazing and tiring at the same time.I understand now what it really means to be exhausted, but I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world! I love my little man to the moon and back...and back again!
I just can't believe it has been 6 months!!!  He is 6 months old!!! This is crazy! He has been with us half a year! It's true what they say about time flying by, because it seems like we just brought him home from the hospital.
And now here he is rolling over and pushing up, eating baby food, and probably fixing to get a tooth or two. I mean how does this happen? Time, it's a crazy thing. I have realized now just how precious and dear time really is. So just a note to everyone out there, never forget the time you have is so very precious. Spend it wisely, because its gone before you know it.
